This site serves as a general blog for Kamen Rider and other tokusatsu reviews. Eventually I hope to be able to chronicle every single episode of the Kamen Rider franchise here along with several other series. Things are rated on a five point system, five being the highest, one the lowest. Here’s a quick rundown of the system:
– Nothing great or even that good here. Characters often acting out of character, plots not making sense and an overall feeling of crap through the episode.
– Vaguely interesting ideas or characters, but nothing special overall. You may not even want to watch the episode completely, rather just skim through it.
– Average episode, yet still pretty fun. It may seem tedious at times, but you’ll stick around for the entire episode. There can be potential here that’s just screaming “Use me!” but is left often untouched or misused.
– Certain things just don’t go well together, but the episode is still relatively good and keeps you hooked through its entire run. A good episode, but despite that, some flaws are just too glaring to ignore.
– Perfect or near perfect. The flaws are minimal or nonexistent, everything is pulled off just right. People act the way they’re supposed to, surprises don’t clash with anything we’ve learned about the characters, new characters are introduced as interesting people with intriguing backstories.
